Day 1:Depart from your local area (Somerset passengers will have a bit of free time in Melksham, a charming town known for its historic market and picturesque surroundings, as we complete our Wiltshire pick-up route). We’ll then stop in Abergavenny, a beautiful market town nestled between the Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains, known for its medieval castle and stunning landscapes. Afterward, we’ll continue on to the Seabank Hotel in Porthcawl for a four-night stay.
Day 2: Enjoy an optional excursion to Swansea, Wales’s second-largest city, famous for its vibrant waterfront and cultural scene. We’ll also visit the stunning Bracelet Bay, a picturesque spot on the Gower Peninsula, renowned for its scenic views and tranquil atmosphere.
Day 3: Join our included excursion to Carmarthen, one of Wales’s oldest towns, rich in history and charm. Wander through its bustling market, explore its ancient landmarks, and enjoy the vibrant local culture. The town is also home to beautiful parks and riverside walks.
Day 4 : A free day at leisure in Porthcawl, a lovely seaside town with stunning views of the Bristol Channel. You can explore its sandy beaches, enjoy a stroll along the promenade, or visit the Grand Pavilion and the nearby nature reserves.
Day 5: After a hearty breakfast, we’ll retrace our steps and head back home, reflecting on a memorable trip filled with scenic towns and Welsh charm.
